Following is the profile of some of the people we are providing education, medical or family support assistance. You can participate with us to help thousands of such people in Pakistan.

Mohammad Asad (not his real name) is an old man. He is the sole supporter of his family with five children and lives in a rented house in a poor suburb of Karachi. He was a teacher. He developed an eye problem and is unable continue his teaching job. His son also has a health problem. He urgently needed monthly assistance to feed his family and get proper medical treatment for his son.

Faiqa (not her real name) is a good student of grade 10. She goes to a private school in a poor neighborhood of Karachi where there are no government schools. Her father works as a driver and earns 5000 rupees and tips, and unable to support the education of his four children. She needed assistance for her school fee.

Meherunnissa (not her real name) is a widow living in a poor neighborhood in Karachi. During the July 2007 rains her roof collapsed. She is unable to repair her house on her own. She needed a loan to repair her house.

Salma (not her real name) is expecting a child. She is a homemaker and her husband works as a peon in an office and earns 4000 rupees a month. She needed assistance to pay for her delivery expenses.

Hafsa (not her real name) lives in a village in Baluchistan. She has multiple health problem due to malnutrition and bearing many children at an early age. She urgently needed assistance for medical checkup, good food and medical treatment.

Najma Khatoon is a widow. She needed a loan to buy a stitching machine to stitch and sell clothes and support her family.
